Housing

Through a collaborative effort, Phillipsburg has completed a housing project through the Northwest Kansas Housing from Pioneer Development out of Hill City, Kansas.  The project allowed for two homes to be built for low income families in our community. These homes were completed in early 2009 .

The Housing Committee in Phillipsburg continues to look at the possibility and need for an Independent Living facility.  Through the Elderly Needs Study, it became apparent there is interest from our Senior population for this type of facility in our community.  Phillips County Economic Development has committed $5,000.00 towards a feasibility study to be completed on this project.
