The purpose of the Phillips County revolving loan fund (PCRLF) is to stimulate private investment and create or retain permanent jobs for low and moderate income (LMI) citizens of Phillips County. Job expansion created by this fund will increase the general tax base of Phillips County through a creation emphasis on primary jobs (defined as a job that creates other jobs).
The Start up Business Guide is a comprehensive guide to helping start a new business. The document includes information on Organization structure, business plan, professional relationship, records keeping and registering your business.
The SBA Guide is a road map for starting a business. The topics included in this document are Ask Yourself, Getting Started; Find the money you need, regulations, SBA assistance, local sources of assistance and the Financial 6 C’s.
The Entrepreneurial Step by Step Guide was designed by Phillips County Economic as a tool to help new businesses get started. It includes an overview sheet, suggestions for your business plan, a budget master list and start up costs.
Finally, you won’t want to skip the Kansas Department of Commerce Business Development Directory. The Commerce is the leading agency for Economic Development in Kansas. Their directory is full of information and ideas to help the small business succeed. Topics included are Incentive programs, tax credits, property and Sales tax exemptions, Financing, Commerce Business assistance programs and other business assistance resource.
